Hi! I'm Payton Cascio, a 2028 catcher and corner infielder, age 15, from Lightridge High School (VA). I play for VA Glory National 18U Mertz-Griffith, where I'm challenging myself by playing up to compete with older players.
At 5'11", I bring a strong arm, natural power, and quick release behind the plate. I love being a vocal leader who keeps my team focused and energized.
I'm ranked #6 in Virginia for home runs (MaxPreps) and #13 catcher in the Northeast (Extra Inning Softball), but what matters most is being the kind of teammate my team can count on, someone who competes hard and never checks out of a game. My goal is to play college softball and continue growing as a player, leader, and teammate.
Two Grand Slams in One GameReally proud of playing three travel ball games the same day after coming runner-up in Virginia Class 5 championship. It was a full day of softball and two grand slams in one game was a highlight.
